This is my first ever 3-piece painting.
What we have here is a cherry blossom tree loaded with flowers against the backdrop of (various shades of) Prussian blue sky.
I painted this tree because I love cherry blossoms, the color, shade, and shape of the flowers is so unique! I also wanted to capture and show the details of light and shadow falling on the branches and the trunk.
If you were to look up a cherry blossom tree, you would see the beautiful blue sky as a lovely background peeking from behind the flowers and the branches.
