Privacy

Last updated: October 2026

This is my own website. It has no ads, no newsletter and no comments. Here is what it collects, and why.

When you write to me

The Say hello form asks for your name, your email and your message. Your phone number is optional. If you write about a painting, its name is added.

Your message is saved in my website’s admin, where only I can see it, and a copy comes to my email. I use it only to reply to you. I do not share it with anyone or add you to any list.

To stop spam, each message is checked by Akismet, a service by Automattic. Akismet sees the message, your name and email, your IP address and your browser. Akismet’s privacy policy.

Counting visits

I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they enjoy. It records the pages you open, your device and browser, your rough location (city or country) and how you reached the site, and it uses cookies to do this. It does not tell me who you are. Google’s privacy policy. To switch it off, block cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out add-on.

Videos

YouTube videos on this site load only when you press play, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once a video plays, Google’s privacy policy applies.

On Home, “Follow along” shows pictures of a few of my Instagram and YouTube posts, from this website itself. Tapping one takes you to Instagram or YouTube, where Instagram’s privacy policy or Google’s applies.

Buying a painting

Payments go through Instamojo. I do not see or keep your card or bank details. Instamojo’s privacy policy. For delivery I need your name, address and phone number, which I share only with the courier.

Anything else

The fonts and pictures come from this website itself. My web host (Bluehost) and Cloudflare, which keep the site running and safe, see your IP address when you visit, as with any website.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete anything you have sent me. Write to me through Say hello.
