This is my first ever Fine Abstract traditional Radha Krishna painting.
I painted this because I love flute music and also wanted to show the pure and divine love of Radha Krishna.
Whenever we talk about Lord Krishna the first two things that come to mind are Radha and their divine love and the melodious music of his flute. It is said that Radha is incomplete without Lord Krishna and Krishna without Radha. The bond of love between Lord Krishna and Radha was a spiritual one and a pure form of devotion.
Radhakrishna represents the unique union of the Goddess-gopi Radha and her beloved Krishna, two highly revered deities in the Hindu Vaishnavite tradition. It is believed that Lord Krishna and Radha used to meet each other secretly in Vrindavan when Lord Krishna used to play the melodious flute every day by the lakeside that used to captivate Radha to come and meet Lord Krishna.
I enjoyed working on this – I got to learn a traditional painting style and did this in mixed media!
