I have painted these Tulips as if it is morning and they have just bloomed to blossom our morning…

I had made this painting by imagining that I am in the sea on that boat near the moon on the horizon. Usually this effect is well depicted with the sun going down, but the moon is equally appealing on a full moon night.

This is a very special painting which is very close to my heart. The motherbird feeding its children. The effect of large brushstrokes is also shown here, which was made use of to create the background.

Tulips are very colorful flowers. In this painting, I decided to make the background black to give the Tulips a brighter look and more contrast against the background.

In this painting, I have tried to show Lord Ganesha’s childhood time. Flowers are showering on him from heaven as a symbol of all the Gods being glad to see him enjoying eating his favorite Laddoos.
In many story books, I have read of stories of Lord Krishna’s childhood acts. So, on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birthday, known as Krishna Janmashtami I felt like showing the beautiful relationship between Krishna and his mother on my canvas using the magic of my paint and brush.
In this painting I have tried to show the fusion of beautiful music and the perfect moment. I feel that evening around sunset is the best time for enjoying playing music. So, while imagining that melodious moment, in my mind there came the image of Pied Piper – a pipe player and I decided to make him the hero in my painting.

Just my depiction of an imaginary way of doing meetings in the sky. The green around the birds, here, is almost like a window from the perspective of an onlooker. The sky serves as a perfect infinite background.

This painting is off of a photo I had clicked sometime back. This is a lone street shaded by Ashoka trees on both sides and one of my favorite streets of the IIT Campus (Kharagpur).

This is another sample of my passion for painting Dahlias. Can’t help it, it is a beautiful flower :)!
There is a repetition of similarly patterned petals in the flower, adding more to its beauty.

I have always found the moon very charming and have tried to capture its grace in my photos and on my canvas. This collection of mine has many incarnations of the moon in various shapes and shades. This is one of my favorite captures.

This painting shows the worshiping done by Mira Bai for her beloved Lord Krishna. Although Krishna wasn’t present in front, he was in the thoughts and was the attention. Mira is shown playing her vina next to a river.
