Magic of Water Painting

Hello and welcome to the introductory course in Water Painting :)

Course content

This course is designed for any adult who wants to learn the basics of water painting or explore the world of art via water painting. Haven’t touched brushes or paints since primary school – no problem!

The course will cover the following:

1. Making friends with watercolors – learning how to use them
2. Making the best of brushes – how and when to use which brush stroke
3. Learning various techniques in water painting
4. Making a complete art piece using watercolors.

All of the sessions will be interactive and will involve painting. You will be learning and making something in each class, making progress towards the goal of making a beautiful painting by the end of the course.

Materials required

We will need the following for the course. I have provided reference links to these on Amazon, but please feel free to get them from wherever you like.

1. 12 shades of watercolors. [Artists (recommended), Student]
2. 4 A3 sized hand-made sheets (300 GSM) [Artist Sheets]
3. Water painting brushes [Synthetic brushes]
4. (Optional) Palette, a piece of cloth

Schedule

The course commences on 28th March and goes on till 18th April. There will be a total of 4 sessions, one each every Sunday at 04:00 PM. The classes will be 1-1.5 hours in length.

Mode

The classes will be Online and will be conducted on Zoom.

The fee for the course is ₹ 1,200/-
