Materials needed:
- For the vase base:
- Plastic Coca-Cola bottles
- Waste CDs
- Fevicol
- Pen Knife
- For decorating the vase:
- Pistachio shells
- Pearl-Fabric paints
- Painting-brush
- Colored tape
- Colorful chumkis, beads, pearls, and other things for decoration
Steps:
- First cut the washed Coca-Cola plastic bottle into half (horizontally) using a pen-knife
- Next, choose your favorite color from the pearl-fabric paints and paint both parts of cold-drink bottles
- After the paint is completely dry, stick both the bottles on two different waste CDs using any strong glue like fevicol or feviquick etc. (see the photo above for help)
- Stick colorful tape on the edge of bottle and/or anywhere as you want to decorate
- When both the bottles are firmly stuck on the CDs, decorate the painted part of flower-vase and CDs by sticking pistachio shells, chumkis, beads, pearls and other decorative things in the pattern of any choice. You could even use dry leaves and flowers, colorful thermocol balls etc. for the decoration
- One can use this as a flower-vase, a pen-stand, painting-brush-stand or even as a cutlery-stand!
