In India, almost all year round there is festival time. And the people of India celebrate all the festivals in a very colorful manner along with their friends & family. As an artist and an art teacher, I love to capture the colors of the joy of these festivals in my paintings and drawings and more importantly, love to teach my students how they can capture this joy as delightful artwork. I made these three drawings above for my online art classes to teach my students about Krishna Janmashtami – an Indian festival for celebrating Lord Krishna’s birth!
