The Madhubani Art, practiced mainly in Bihar (India) is characterized by geometrical patterns and the attention to details that are given to the art work. The medium used for creating the paintings vary. For this painting, I have used fabric paints on cloth. With fishes on four symmetrical sides and leaves in between – this is my first attempt to add the Madhubani art to my shelf.
