Soothing Pink

Pink is my favorite color and these days comes in a variety of shades with names occupying a whole range from  “Hot Pink”, “Shocking Pink”, “Tickle Me Pink” , “Baby Pink”  to the straight forward “Light Pink” or “Dark Pink”. I call this decoration a “Soothing Pink” as this pink seems soothing and also the shades used for the accompanying blues, greens etc. also seem soothing, quiet-ish but elegant. What you see here is one “Deeya” (earthen lamp) placed on top of an elongated terracotta pot. The base paint is of course “soothing” pink and the designs are done with other soothing colors and are traditionally inspired curves, dots, flowers and rhombi…
