This is the story of an Acrylic miniature painting I made, really fast. I say fast because I finished and got it into the hands of the recipient within 24 hrs of getting the order!
So on 27th Nov, around 9:30 pm one of my friends (let’s call her S) messaged me on WhatsApp saying that one of her friends was going to visit the next day and A wanted to gift her friend something. S’s friend loves art and so A asked me if I had something hand painted in a range of Rs 500 – Rs 1,000. I had an idea to make something fresh and custom for S’s friend. I asked A about her friend and what she liked, e.g. music, dance, flowers etc. Turns out S’s friend likes dancing and flowers.
So the same night, I painted this miniature piece of two friends dancing in a garden, surrounded by beautiful flowers. I was done within an hour, and S was very happy. She thought I was “super-duper fast”! She came to pick up the painting and was thrilled with what I had made and bought it right away. As planned, she gifted it to her friend who loved it. Mission accomplished!
So I call this painting “A story of 24 hours, a story of friendship, by friend for friend :)”
