Art Summer Camp 2022 – Ages 4 to 7

Not just another summer camp! This is a short art course designed to develop smart thinking, creativity, and concentration in young learners while they have fun! 

Children will gain an understanding of elements of art by learning the basics of using lines, shapes and colors.

Course Content

Session-1: Lines: In this unit, we will introduce learners to the elements of art: line. Their attention will be drawn towards mediums. They will also learn different kinds of lines and create designs from line patterns.

Session-2: Colors: In this unit, learners will gain an understanding of the play of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Then, they will learn to create by mixing different Oil Pastel colors and how to color within the boundaries of the lines they create.

Session-3: Shapes: The children will learn the concept of shapes and create some exciting artworks in this unit.

Session-4: Bringing it all together: In the final step they will learn how to draw an amazing composition by using lines, shapes and will have fun with Summers.

Materials Required

  1. Drawing copy (standard sized)
  2. Pencils
  3. Eraser
  4. Oil pastels or crayons
  5. Sketch pens

Tuesday 11:00am to 12:00 noon

Mode & Location

The sessions will be in-person and I am planning to have them in the clubhouse (Sumadhura Madhuram)
