Summers are here and so are the vacations – the best time to indulge in some art and get creative! This is a short art & crafts course designed to develop smart thinking, creativity, and concentration in young learners while they have fun!
In this course, the children will be introduced to a variety of art & craft forms.
Course Content
These are some of the art forms that the children will be working with.
Lippan art is a traditional art form of Western India that involves decorating walls with a mixture of clay and cow dung. The artwork usually features intricate patterns and designs created by the skilled hands of the artisans.
The children would be learning about Lippan art and creating pieces of Lippan art themselves.
Quilling is a paper craft technique that involves rolling, shaping, and gluing thin strips of paper into intricate designs. It originated in Europe during the Renaissance and has since gained popularity around the world as a form of creative expression.
What can be created using Quilling is only limited by imagination. We will be creating a variety of things using Quilling.
Creation of an artistic fridge magnet and key chains. There’s a lot of creativity that will go into it.
Depending on the time and interest of the children, we will work on other activities as well.

Mode & Location
The sessions will be in-person and I am planning to have them in the Library Room (Sumadhura Madhuram)
