Venice, the stunning city in northeastern Italy, is known by many names: The Floating City, City of Canals, City of Bridges, and The City of Flowers, all for self-evident reasons. I was amazed to learn that it is built on an archipelago of 118 small islands, connected by over 400 bridges and a complex network of canals!
From the pictures I have seen, Venice looks like a dream. It is a destination I hope to visit someday.
This is my second painting of Venice, created as a custom order. I’m enchanted by Venice’s vibrant flowers, charming bridges, and the magical interplay of water, buildings, and sky. Working on this painting was a joy, and I completed it in just four days. Painting Venice felt effortless, and the music I listened to while working on it was like the icing on the cake.
